Agua Caliente Casinos plans a $60 million renovation of all 340 guest rooms at its Rancho Mirage resort, part of a broader master planning effort that includes additional development at the property and in downtown Palm Springs, according to the tribal gaming operator.

The multi-phase renovation is already underway and will be completed while the hotel remains open. The project will fully refresh guest rooms and suites, including new furnishings, upgraded bathrooms, enhanced in-room technology, and energy-efficient lighting and materials. The company did not disclose a timeline for completion.

Agua Caliente said it is working with a mix of local Southern California and international architects, designers, and construction firms, but declined to identify specific development or construction partners involved in the project.

The Rancho Mirage property includes a 16-story hotel tower, casino floor, dining venues, meeting and event space, and spa facilities. The renovation represents one of the largest capital reinvestments at the resort since it opened and reflects a focus on upgrading existing assets rather than expanding capacity.

Agua Caliente Casinos is owned by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and operates three casino-resort properties in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, and Cathedral City. The company said the guest room renovation is aligned with longer-term planning for both the Rancho Mirage resort and future development in downtown Palm Springs, though no additional project details or capital commitments were disclosed.

The renovation will be completed in phases to limit disruption to hotel operations, allowing the resort to continue serving leisure, group, and business travelers during construction.
